Group Outing Idea: Fall Ikebana Festival at Yume Japanese Gardens 🌸
Hi everyone!
I’d love to organize a relaxed group visit to the 2026 Fall Ikebana Festival at Yume Japanese Gardens of Tucson (2130 N. Alvernon Way), running Thursday, November 19 through Sunday, November 22.
Yume is a quiet sanctuary in central Tucson with shaded courtyard paths, a Zen gravel garden, a bamboo grove, and a koi pond—and it just reopened this autumn after a major restoration. During the festival, original seasonal flower arrangements (Ikebana, “the Way of Flowers”) are displayed throughout the gardens and traditional cottage.
Much like Tai Chi and Qigong, Ikebana is all about balance, natural lines, and unhurried presence. Strolling the gardens together is a lovely way to slow down, enjoy the autumn air, and spend time with classmates outside the studio.
Quick Details:
- When: Thursday, Nov 19 – Sunday, Nov 22 (open 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
- Where: Yume Japanese Gardens, 2130 N. Alvernon Way (half a block south of Tucson Botanical Gardens)
- Admission: $10 Adults · $7 Seniors (62+) & Military · Free for Tucson Botanical Gardens members
